Gas distributor is a kind of very important internal in packed column. Its quality of performance is directly related to separation efficiency and qualities of productions. As one of the important gas distributors, the Two-Line Vane Gas Distributor is used in many cases.In this paper, Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)software Fluent is used to simulate the flow state around Two-Line Vane Gas Distributor in packed column (Φ2200mm) of which the diameter of feed-in pipe is 400mm. The influence of the quantity of vanes, height of vane, inclination angle of vane, vane spacing in y direction and radius of vane on the performance of the gas distributor was studied. The followed results had been obtained through simulation under the conditions in this paper. Pressure drop decreases as the quantity of vanes increases, but maldistribution factor decreases firstly then increases. As the height of vane increases, pressure drop increases, but maldistribution factor decreases. As the inclination angle of vane increases, pressure drop increases, but maldistribution factor decreases reversely. As the vane spacing in y direction increases, pressure drop and maldistribution factor decrease firstly then increase. As the radius of vane increases, pressure drop decreases and maldistribution factor decreases firstly then increases. When the quantity of vanes is 12, the height of vanes is 500mm, the ratio of the height of vane and the diameter of feed-in pipe is 1.25, the inclination angle of vane is 8 degree, the vane spacing in y direction is 14mm, the radius of vane is 100mm, the performance of the gas distributor is the best.In addition, this paper attempts to make some improvement on the basis structure of Two-Line Vane Gas Distributor. The results show that the performance of gas distributor with holes in the upper cover and gas distributor without the upper cover are not good. There is no difference between the performance of gas distributor with different vane spacing in x direction and equal vane spacing in x direction. The maldistribution factor is larger when gas distributor equipped with draft slices, but a lot of gas fluid flows into the center of the packed column along the draft slices. It provides a way to revamp Two-Vane Line Gas Distributor.
