Based on analyzing the market and technology level of beam pumping unit using in oil field and CBM wells, the paper made researches on the type choice, kinematic and dynamic analysis, optimization design of the non-beam pumping unit in the CBM wells, and gave two design projects of new non-beam pumping unit with long stroke and low strokes. The main accomplished work included:1. It has analyzed the type choice and type design of the small-sized beam pumping unit, gave the principle of type choice, decided the rational pattern of several pumping units whose strokes were 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.1, 2.5, 3.0meter, and made design and choice of the main parts.2. It has built the mathematics model and optimization method which employed in the main parameter optimization design of the pumping unit in the CBM wells, and designed a non-beam pumping unit which was 3 model 1.5 meter of stroke by using this method.3. It has gave two design projects of non-beam pumping unit, and made kinematical analysis, dynamic analysis and the choice and intensity design of the main parts about the two pumping units.4. It has analyzed the main parameters by comparing with several pumping units of 3 model 1.5 meter of stroke which were using in oil field, pointed out their shortcomings, and made the suggestions of choosing the pumping unit.5. Analysis of the theory shows that the type choice about this pumping unit can meet the need of the exploiting block of the coalbed methane, the main parts meet the request for the design load, and the stroke and pumping speed can meet more needs of extensive exploitation in CBM wells. What is more, the pumping unit realizes its big transmission ratio and the request of adjusting pumping speed in succession, simplifies the electric and transmission system, strengthens the accommodation of the pumping unit, and the whole unit owns the advantages of simple structure, light weight, and high dependability. So it has great meaning to the exploitation of the coalbed methane of our country.
