After the traditional treatment, high organics concentration, which cause COD,turbidness and color dissatisfied to discharge standard, is still contained in effluent. In view of the above problems, the oil-well sewage in Shengli Oilfield for the study, ozonization and advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) is applied to vehicle-sewage treatment plants and industrial wastewater treatment to meet the increasing stringent effluent discharge standard. The source, constitute, pollutant characteristic and the present condition of disposing operation sewage are detailedly expatiated in the paper. The feasibility and mechanism of treatments, which degrade organics in oil-well wastewater with ozonization and AOPs, are mainly studied in article. The ultimate goal is that actual wastewater treatment can be guided by the laws and conclusions which have been obtained. Therefore, the organizational structure of this paper is to the main line. First, oil-well sewage has been degraded by single ozonation treatment.Then,UV/O3å’ŒUV/O3/H2O2 were put forward to degrade wastewater with COD of high concentration when we found its shortcomings, which is its high selectivity resuliting low degradation of organics. At last, the effects of temperature, the ozone inflow, pH value, temperature, the initial sewage concentration and the reaction time have been studied. The mechanisms of the three ways have been explored and compared. The results of the research show: the aim ,which was the deep degradation of the COD,the removal of the color and turbidity in the produced water, has been achieved after the treatments of UV/O3å’ŒUV/O3/H2O2.
