Chan Ba River Of Xi'an Ecological Zones Wetland Resources Survey And Evaluation

The wetland has the giant environment adjustment function and the ecological benefit. It plays the important role in the aspects of self-controlling water source, adjusting climate, degenerating pollutant, protecting biodiversity and so on. Areas of the nature and the artificial wetland is 900.96 square kilometers in Xi'an, occupies to 8.9% of the whole city area. In Chanba, the ecology area's wetland is one of the more centralized, and more perfect regions in wetland function, after investigation, the area of wetland altogether in Chanba is 2533 hm2 approximately (including Guang Yuntan scenic area wetland 773 hm2). And area of 304 hm2 is rivers wetland, 1456 hm2 is flat wetland, 773 hm2 (lake 233 hm2) is artificial lake wetland. The results showed that there are 27 items of animal type, 50 families and 150 kinds approximately in Chanba ecology zone. And the amphibious crawling class have 4 item, 7 families ,14 kinds; and the birds have 14 items, 28 families ,76 kinds; and the mammalia have 5 items, 7 families, 20 kinds; and the fish have 4 items, 8 families, 40 kinds.The representative animals in the zone, like the amphibious crawling class including Bufo gargarizans, B.raddei, Egretta alba, and Otis tarda, the mammalia including Erinaceus europaeus, Lepus capensi s, the fish including Hypseleotris swinhonis, Monopterus albus and so on. In Chanba ecology area's wetland, there are 49 families of floristic and 181 kinds, 1 families and 2 kinds of fern, 48 families and 179 kinds of angiosperm. And there has the typical ecology significance and important value species regarding the restoration and reconstruction of the wetland which includes Phragmites communis Trin, Typha orientalis Presl, Echinochloa crusgalli (Linn.) Beauv, Bidens bipinnata Linn, Cyperus rotundus Linn., Juncus effuses Linn., Alisma orientale (Sam.) Juzepcz, Sagittaria sagittifolia Linn and so on. The surved result showed that the ecology area of ChanBa has the rich wild animals and plants resources and the biodiversity. It has the important significant about the local ecological environment and sustainable development of the economic society.For the full protection and utilization of wetland, with the guidance of scientific concept of development, adhering to the protection of priority, development and utilization as the main line, overall planning, highlighting key points .There is an full investigation which focus mainly on the natural state of wetland, vegetation, wildlife and around it and the situation of the protection in Chanba ecological zone. Meanwhile, evaluating from the wetland resource of animals and plants, economic, ecological benefit, social benefit, vulnerability and rare species, etc, five aspects was been done in this paper. Thereby we put forward an effective way and rational proposal of restoration and protection to Chanba wetland. In this study on the basis of the above research, we put forward five proposals about existing problems, and try to find out the basic conditions of wetland resource in Chanba ecological zone, provide the basic information and reference for the construction of Chanba ecological zone, in order to ensure wetland resources and sustainable development.
