The lack of water resource and the contamination of water not only restrict the development of Chinese economy and society, but also do harm to the health of people and affect the harmony and stabilization of the society. The only method of solving water question for every country is disposing and circulating the wastewater. It is a little bit hot problem to research new techniques for disposing and circulating wastewater with low consume and high efficiency.According to this principle, a new compound type was designed which is anaerobic. It is consisted of UASB and anaerobic MBR units. At first, the high density wastewater flowed into the UASB segment to be forward treated. And then, the effluent water of UASB as the influent water of MBR flowed into the membrane unit. Finally, the liquid with high quality was discharged.Starch wastewater as influent liquid was artificial in the experiment. Not only carried on a research to the UASB start characteristic, to the whole set of movement characteristic of the system also carried on analysis. Therefore, it can provide a reference for the thorough research and physically applied. The results showed that:(1) According to the characteristics of wastewater, when nourishment material and little chemical element were putted into the waste liquid, the start-up of UASB can fast and stable. In early days, the influent COD burden at 2000~3000mg/L. Circulate UASB device alone, and the characteristic of discharged water was fit for forward treatment. Be stabilizing movement stage, the various scope of COD was 3000~6000mg/L. The averaged removal efficiencies of UASB+MBR process can reach 81.7%.(2) In the beginning, the anaerobic MBR putted up a good quality in the aspect of separation mud from water. Moreover, it showed advantages in raising the water's pH and alkalinity. The pH value can raise 0.33, and the alkalinity can equally raise 80mg/L.(3) Carry on a living creature characteristic analysis for anaerobic granular sludge which were in virtue of microscope and electricity mirror. The external structure of the granular sludge can be observed. Furthermore , the preponderant microorganism was verified in this kind of wastewater. The function of the two price metals ion and ECP were simply clarified in the formation of granular sludge.(4) Continuing the improvement for the influent organic burden, which was a precondition for the investigation about the movement characteristic of the module. The processing result was subjected to HRT and VLR. In the meantime , we can get the conclusion which was that the system can furthest bear capacity of 9kgCOD/m~3d.(5) In the experiment, it was adopted the physical cleaning method to the polluted film at first. Then make sodium hypochlorite as chemical abluent to carry on chemistry cleaning. This method showed that the instauration of film flux was better.(6) The benefit performance showed that this new module (UASB+AMBR) was outstanding in the aspects of economic and social milieu. As a result, this system was competitive.
