On China's Ecological Civilization Construction In The View Of Scientific Development

The purpose of constructing ecologyical civilization is to eliminate the alienation of industrial civilization and build a harmonious intercourse of people, nature and society. Although the concept of ecological civilization was put forward in the last century, its theory still stems from thousands years of splendid cultures accumulated by the East and West. For instance, China's traditional human thinking contains the diea of 'combining the heavens and people', 'things being equal' and "love things and encourage frugality"; The western ecology culture proposes 'the universe is one', 'honour lives' and 'green campaigns'; Marxism ecology thought also contains "people blongs to nature', 'sustainable development' and 'technology ecology'. Such ideas can help us correctly understand and treat the relationship between people and nature, and make us well carry out scientific development idea and devlope sustainably, which has the great significance in guiding socialist ecological civilization. Since the 1980's, China's economy has made great achievements which may be rated as a mavel of world. However, it was under the 'shepherd economy' pattern that the success took the sacrifice natural resource and circumstance as the cost. Long-term high development bings so great pressure on environment that the earth is hard to support any more.What on earth are the difficulties in protecting environment and harnessing the enviromental probolems? There are mainly four reasons: the loss of people's ecological consciousness, the deficiency of environmental NGO, and the imperfect of Environmental Protection Law and management system. In view of the difficulties and challenges faced by ecological civilization construction of China, We should take the following measures to settle the present ecological straits. On one hand, our government should build just and rational social systems to promote national people's ecological consciousness; on the other hand, We may use the practice criterions of western countries such as Circulation Economy, Political Ecology, Green Campaign, Technology Ecology and Environmental NGO as reference.
