Sheet transfer mechanism is a key part of an offset press, which weightily affects the quality of presswork.. The cam mechanism is composed of cams, driven pieces and staffs. The sheet transfer cam is the most important part of the sheet transfer mechanism and its precision demand is also important as its design and manufacture error will affect the working capability of sheet transfer mechanism and printing precision. This article designs and researches the fixed center lapping sheet transfer mechanism. It mainly contains some movement analysis to the sheet transfer mechanism and error analysis to cam profile. Material content is as follows:(1) The pluralism vector method is adopted to carry through movement analysis by choosing several movement rules for high speed movement, whose results offer the base of movement integration and dynamics research..(2) The profile curve of the cam is designed in the base of movement analysis and the pressure angle is checked synchronously.(3) According to the establishing method of dynamic convergence parameter model, the elasticity dynamics analysis is executed in order to gain the dynamic angular displacement and dynamic angular velocity of the output system. The dynamic capability of the system is evaluated directly.(4) The function relation between cam profile error and cam follower parameter error is deduced through the research between them. Right cam profile error is confirmed and validated through resembling.(5) Parameterized software is programmed under Visual Basic. The main function of the software contains parameterized sheet transfer mechanism and pr(?)validating cam profile error. It's convenient for the research and development of the mechanism.
