The environmental problems around mine have not been paid much attention for a long time due to its regionality. The living standard has been raised as a result of economic growth and social development, which make the people pay more and more attention to ecological and environmental problems and also to the environmental geologic problems of mine. The environmental pollution and ecological destrution caused by mining and smelting is a global event which has become an important research field for environmental geochemistry.Soil,being in a centeral position within entironment,is the important part of the environmental factor,undertaking approximately ninety percents contamination which comes from each routes.Soil polution of mining area is mainly caused by heavy mentals,and be attached much importance to by pursuers,because of its more source,enshroud,durative and sequential ponderance ,etc.The heavy metal elements pollution is the important factor that breaks the soil environment and endanger to the human body health directly or indirectly. They have the characteristics of covert , lagging, regional , cumulative, irreversible , difficul to manage and a long life cycle. Therefore, we must adopt some effective and economic methods to manage it.This article chooses Tuwu ore district and its influential region ,carry through field survey ,gathers soil samples ,according as analysis outcome from cyanide geochemical AF (As) and AAS (Ag,Au,Bi,Cu,Mo,Sb) analysis measures,using plot softwares such as SPSS ,MapGis and so on,draw the frequency distribution plans of heavy metal and the assessment map of heavy metals contamination based on geoaccumulation index; studying environmental geochemical characteristic and distributing rule which behaving from seven sorts heavy mental—As,Ag,Au,Cu etc, from farmland soil which caused by mining exploitation;make use of Geoaccumulation Index methods and Contamination Degree analysis to appraise this area's soil environmental geochemistry quality contamination.The flowing conclusions we have been drawn:1.The maximum , mean value and mean square deviation of Ag,As,Au,Bi,Cu,Mo,Sb in the soil in research region separately are 600μg/g,55.14μg/g,20μg/g,0.573μg/g,1090.3μg/g,8.78μg/g,3.65μg/g,and 59.09μg/g,10.34μg/g,2.68μg/g,0.11μg/g,62.23μg/g,1.12μg/g,0.88μg/g,and 36.8μg/g,5.71μg/g,2.32μg/g,0.04μg/g,99.86μg/g,0.75μg/g,0.53μg/g.2.This article based on the geoaccumulation index,contamination degree and spatial analysis methods of GIS,the environmental geochemistry quality assessment in Tuwu mines is performed.The contamination of heavy metal elements(Ag,As,Au,Bi,Cu,Mo,Sb)is emphatically assessed. The results of the assessment indicate that there are different extents of contamination of Au, Cu,Bi,Mo,Sb,especially in the area of the Tuwu mines.And the elements of Ag,As almost have no pollution.3. The cause and mechanism about the heavy metal distribution and pollution was analyzed. Some prevention and cure measures for cutting down heavy metal elements pollution was proposed.So this research research has important theory and the practical significance on the quality of environmental geochemistry evaluation of the mine , the prevention of the mine environmenal and the treatment of heavy metal element pollution and so on.
