K190ΠκRail AC flash butt welding machine is still be used for it's simple structures, convenient maintenance and low maintenance charges. It belongs to fixed continous flash welding set which was imported from Former Soviet Union. Welding Reasearch Institute of Southweast Jiaotong University made reconstruction several times since it couldn't meet the demand of welding production. The system which voltage was regulated and stabilized and the hydraulic pressure system were redesigned, but the feedback was too low to achieve pulse flash butt welding process. It is too difficult to Weld U75V rail with this machineBased on former reconstruction, K190ΠκRail AC flash welding butt machine was redesigned as followed, (1) Hydraulic pressure system was redesigned with electromagnetism proportional valve. Beause proportional valve conbined with electric equipment can carry out complex function and improve its feedback, Electro-Hydraulic Proportional Valve was used to achieve pulse flash welding process.(2)According to the principle of highest output power, welding process was controled with computer programe to hold best resistance to achieve high efficience welding.(3) According to TB/T1632-2005 standard, welding technology was researched conducted with drop-weight test.After being applicated in field, the new control system enhance thermal input power and production edfficiency greatly and economize great quantity of electric power. the quality of U75V rail welded with pulse flash butt welding process is good.
