In order to ensure the safety of people and property in the situation of fire, various of smoke protection means are used to prevent somkes entering into the security channel for example fire doors, Fire protection volume curtains and so on,but those smoke-protecting means are all rigid obstruct, although fire smoke spread are prevented effectively,they have a negative impact about people evacuation, material transport,fire-fighting and rescue. So a new smoke control technology i.e.smoke-preventing air curtain technology are put forward by many fire science searchers from all over the word. Smoke-preventing air curtains jet screen-air with certain jet angle and velocity from a curtain engine in order to prevent hot smoke spreading and enter into evacuation channel, prolong ASET,and do not affect people's action. Therefore, the smoke-preventing air curtain technology has broad application prospects.To understand the effectiveness of smoke-preventing air curtain on the atria door,and find its best operating parameters and the relationship between the dominant factor and the release rate of fire, this paper basing on former results and using theoretics analasis and numerical simulation to research the second floor of fire test tower in Sichuan Fire Research Institute of MPS. The study works are:①The effectiveness of smoke-preventing air curtain in a certain HRR are calculated via the smoke plume model and the calculation. formulas.②Research on the effectiveness of smoke-preventing air curtain in the air curtain combination of different operating parameters, to find the best operating parameters and air smoke screen effect of the main factors ;③To look for the relationship between the dominant factor and the release rate basing on the numerical simulation results. The mainly results are:①Enduced effectiveness calculation formulas of smoke-preventing air curtain by combining Heskestad plume model and air curtain calculation methods;②Based on the results of numerical simulation, through quantitative and qualitative analysis of air curtain that the best angle for the jet is 10 ~ 15°, the best air curtain thickness is 0.2~0.3 m;③According to the analysis results,that the air outlet velocity is the mainly factor to affect the smoke-preventing efficiency,based on the experiment data and theoretical analysis, the relationship of the air outlet velocity and the fire release rate which over than 500kw meet the following:y=0.0008x+1.2906...
