The wastewater containing phenol is prevalent industrial water which seriously endangers human health, so the treatment of phenol contained wastewater is very important and has achieved big progress. Nowadays the three main technologies are physical method, chemical method and biological chemical method. Immobilized microorganism process is extensively used because of their advantages.Firstly, the mixed functional bacteria were cultivated and domesticated by phenol with high concentration. In order to study the mixed microorganism bacteria after cultivation, the SEM analysis in different zoom out scale has been carried out. Meanwhile the SEM analysis of phenol domesticated microorganism in the log phase, the stationary phase and the decline phase is done.By comparing the mechanical intensity, stability and degradation efficience of each immobilized microorganism to phenol, the sodium alginate microorganism ball was choosed as the research object finally. The influence of phenol original concentration, pH, temperature, etc was studied in this paper. Experiment results agreed well with the Monod model. In this paper, the three-phase biological fluidized bed and the method of immobilized microorganism were combined and used to resolve wastewater with phenol. The influence of phenol original concentration, pH, temperature, etc was studied in this paper.
