In this paper, axial, radial and tangential velocities in both cyclone and spin flash dryer were experimented and analyzed with CFD software. The hydrodynamics model in spin flash dryer has been built and the axial, radial and tangential gas velocity field had been simulated using the CFD software of FLUENT 6.0. The simulative results were validated by the experiment data and the results got high consistency. The experiment data of tangential velocity was also analyzed in nonlinear regression and the distributing expression of tangential velocity along radius had been built.The computable model and boundary above-mentioned were used to the simulative research of spin flash dryer with distributor. The pipe distributor, taper distributor and pipe distributor were analyzed using CFD. Totally, the tangential velocity was distributed more equably and the drying ability was improved, while using pipe distributor.
