Recently, the organic charge transport materials(OCTMs) have been focused to be developed and have been widely applied in thin layer optoelectronic device such as xerography,organic light-emitting diodes(OLED),organic solar cells,and so on.Carbazole is characteristic of its excellent hole-transporting ability,which definitely hinder the crystallization process and thus prolong their lifetime values,and meanwhile increase the opportunities of electron-hole complexion to get high efficiency.Triphenylamine has good hole-transporting property because it is easily ionized forming anion under electric field acting.The synthesis of hydrazones in method has many merits: fewer steps, simple process, operation easy,the equipments request is quite low,plenty raw material source and products easy to separate purely.Based on molecular and material design, carbazole and triphenylamine are assembled to form a kind of new hydrazones .CT1~CT5 are designed and synthesized, CT1,CT2 and CT3 are not reported before. Some of their optimal technical conditions have been studied. The purity, composition and structure of products were measured by HPLC, UV, IR, MS and 1HNMR.The effect of molecular structure on the energy bands of the CT1~CT5 have been studied by combiting cyclic voltammetry(CV) and UV-Vis absorption.It is indicated that CT1~CT5 could be excellent HTM in OPC.The OPC of functional separation type have been fabricated using compounds synthesized CT1,CT3 and CT4 as HTM , Y-TiOPc as the charge generation materials. The test results showed that some products with good hole transport property.
