With the increasing importance attached to the protection of the environment by the country and the enhancement of people's reorganization on it , the requirements on the treatment of industrial wastewater are stricter. The advanced treatment and reuse of wastewater is impending. The process of Fenton reagent oxidation is characteristic of low investment, simple equipment, mild reaction conditions, easy operation and without secondary pollution, and it is of great potential in the area of pretreatment and advanced treatment of wastewater. In this thesis, the object studied is second effluent of a wastewater treatment plant from the plant of Harbin Pharmaceutical Group. The principle ,characteristic, effect factor and application of Fenton reagent oxidation is studied. Based on a series of static experiments, the degree of importance of influence factors is determined by orthogonal experiment and the optimal operating parameters are determined by single factor experiment; Also Fenton reagent oxidation process and activated carbon adsorption process are combined to treat the wastewater, and a satisfactory result is obtained. Fenton reagent oxidation-coagulation process is used to the advanced treatment of wastewater, the coagulation effects of Fe3+ produced by Fenton reagent are fully used, and the coagulation effects can be enhanced by dosage of alkali and PAM.The study of Fenton reagent oxidation indicates that the optimal operating parameters are as follows: when pH value is 5, the temperature is 70°C, reaction time is 90,minutes; the dosage of H2O2 and FeSO4 is 64mg Fe2+/L and 300 mg H2O2/L, the optimal result is obtained, and the removal efficiency of COD is to 43.2%; Fenton reagent oxidation-activated carbon: when pH value is 7, the temperature is 20°C, the dosage of H2O2 and FeSO4 is 80mg Fe2+/L and 300 mg H2O2/L, the reaction time is 2 hours, and then the dosage of activated carbon is 50mg/L, and after 30 minutes reaction, the removal efficiency of COD is to 68.5%; Fenton reagent oxidation-coagulation: when pH value is 7, the temperature is 20 Celsius degree, the dosage of H2O2 and FeSO4 is 300 mg H2O2/L and 80mg Fe2+/L, the reaction time is 2 hours, and then the dosage of PAM solution ,the degree of hydrolysis of which is 35%, and after 30 minutes reaction, the removal efficiency of COD is to 79%.
