The CNC system is an important industry in the economic construction of our country, it is closely related to every walk of life of national economy. The CNC machine tool as one of its control objects are very extensive occupied the important position in the industrial economy field.Recently, the economical numerical control lathes were used extensively, most of that are open-loop system by stepping motor. Analyze and discuss the traditional control method. A new control method for double-axis step motor accelerating and decelerating at the same time was put forward.First of all, in order to avoid shocking the machine, based on the linear interpolation algorithm of double-axis and two dimensional, by two stepper motors directed to X and Y controlled through a set of circular distributor and driving-circuit, a transition may be steady between the starting and stopping with high speed. The formulas were given.Secondly, based on SOPC , establish the NIOSâ…¡system to account and disposal the data, and use the UART to transmit the data to PC; then, implement the interpolation by VHDL.Finally, simulate the interpolator in the Quartusâ…¡, and download the program to the development board with Cyclone main chip. The simulation result gives good control effect, and shows the effectiveness of this algorithm.
