Used different chemicals to react with quinoline and pyridine could get 12 quatermary ammonium salts. Applied IRS and NMRS to confirm these products'composition, found these composition fit the design. These anti-corrosion property was characterized with weight loss method. Factors such as corrosion inhibitor concentration, temprature and acidizing fluid concentration were discussed. Results were: the anti-corrosion property of quinolinic quatermary ammonium salts was better than pyridine quatermary ammonium salts; the anti-corrosion property comparison between these quinolinic quatermary ammonium salts was: 1,3-bis-(quinoidine chloride)-2-hydroxyl-propane < epoxypropyl quinoidine chloride < 1,2-ethane-bis-(quinoidine bromide) < allyl quinoidine chloride < (4-vinyl)-benzyl quinoidine chloride < benzyl quinoidine chloride, and between these pyridine quatermary ammonium salts was: 1,2–ethane–bis-(pyridine bromide) < 1,3-bis-(pyridine chloride)-2-hydroxyl–propane < allyl pyridine chloride < epoxypropyl pyridine chloride < benzyl pyridine chloride; the more corrosion inhibitor, the better anti-corrosion property; the higher corrosion temprature or the more acidizing fluid concentration, the bad anti-corrosion property. These inhibiting mechanism was investigated by means of polarization curves and EIS. The results showed that these inhibiting mechanism was the negative catalysis. Except 1,2-ethane-bis -(pyridine bromide) was a cathodic-type inhibitor, all the other ones mainly retarded the anodic process of corrosion and belonged to the mixed-type inhibitor. By explaining these anti-corrosion property could find that: for quatermary ammonium salts, the one that had smaller steric hindrance, and the more groups that could make coordination bond with Fe, and hydrophilicity of these groups worse, the better anti-corrosion performance.
