The purpose of this paper was that studying the best batch formula of PU foam materials by investigating the synthesis technology of FPUF and RPUF, and improving the performance of PU foam materials by adding nano-SiO2We gained the surface modified nano-SiO2 by treating nano-SiO2 with KH-570. The effects of component were studied in the preparative process of FPUF and RPUF. The effect of the nano-SiO2 on the properties of PU foam materials was studied at last.The surface texture of modified nano-SiO2 and the structure of PU/ SiO2 composite material were analyzed by IR spectrum; SEM was used for the abscess shape analysis; the thermal stability of FPUF and RPUF were analyzed by TGA; at last we tested the mechanical property of FPUF and RPUF.The result indicate that KH-570 is grafted onto the surface of nano-SiO2, and nano-SiO2 has steady chemical bond with PU basal body due to the connective action of KH-570.By adding nano-SiO2, the mechanical property of FPUF rise at first and then decline, the best content of nano-SiO2 is 1%1.5%(wt%); the temperature of heat decomposition rise when thecontent of nano-SiO2 increased. The combination of nano-SiO2 and RPUF improve abscess configuration and wall, result in the advance of compressive strength and dimensional stability. TGA indicate that nano-SiO2 improve the temperature of heat decomposition and the thermal stability.
