The bamboo leaves falconoid is a new developing natural plant flavones preparation. It has many fine functions, such as anti-free radical, oxidation resistance and protecting vascular system etc. Nowadays, it has received broad attention from all over the world. In order to review roundly the characters of bamboo leaves falconoid, the next systematical work had been done in the paper: taking the leaves of bamboo as raw material, studying on the extraction, purification, antioxidant activity and antibacterial .The main research contents and results are as follows:The supercritical fluid extraction and orthogonal design were used to extract flavones from bamboo leaves and then optimum for the best industry extracting course, which is that the extracting pressure is 20MPa and temperature is 60℃in 60minutes with 10%·cosolvent dosage .The flavones purification degree can reach the level of 6.82%, the yield is 7.27%(based on the total amount of flavones). The results showed that this method is high efficient, rapid and easy in the later treatment.ADS-17macroreticular resin is selected as absorption material to get purification of column chromatography, contrasting the elution effects in which alcohol with different concentrations serves as the consumpation. With 30% alcohol to be the mobile phase and products of the purification of macroreticlar resin, the flavones purification degree can reach the level of 16.57%; the yield is 4.21%(based on the total amount of flavones)This article takes bamboo leaves flavanone as object for study, HPLC; IR was used for a qualitative analysis of the sampale. Thiobarbituric acid, chemiluminescence's method and FRAP was used in the determination of antioxidant activity of the lipid system, the ability of removing super oxide anion and total antioxidant capacity respective, and antibacterial activity were studied by the filter paper method. The results indicated that there are 17 falconoid in the sampale of bamboo leaves. Antioxidant capacity is obvious in the lipid system, there are a better concentration-effect relationship: y = 0.0002x +0.2413, R2 = 0.97, the IC50= 1293.5mg / L; falconoid of bamboo leaves can scavenge the super oxide anion, and the concentration of falconoid have a linear relationship with the scavenging rate under experimental conditions: y = 0.0002x +0.1713, R2 = 0.9907, the IC50 =469.5714 mg / L, weaker than polyphone of buckwheat. Its total antioxidant capacity is linear with its concentration in a certain range. Paper-law confirmed that the falconoid of bamboo leaves have a certain effect on E. coil. Note the sampales of the falconoid of bamboo leaves have antioxidant capacity and antibacterial activity.
