The plasma arc surface hardening is a method of surface heating.It is a process that material surface is quickly heated by high energy density plasma arc to cause the phase change,to form hardening zone of the martensite.Hardness and wearing resistance of parts are increased by the surface hardening technology and the interior of parts has better toughness,compared with induction heat,blaze heat and laser surface hardening,the plasma are hardening technology has some advantage such as simple structure,small volumes,easy manipulation,economy,and high heat efficiency.In developed industry countries,the plasma arc surface hardening has come into practical application stage.The domestic study of the plasma arc hardening technology and equipment has gained some excellent achievement,but few has been put into application.Therefore,the industrializations of plasma arc surface hardening technology will have prominent economic profit and society benefits.Based on the plasma arc surface hardening engine bed and the power equipment has already been completed,this paper mainly designed one plasma arc surface hardening control system based on micro-chip,realized to the entire hardening process automatic control as well as to the operating current to carry on gathering and the adjustment.Therefore considering system stability,this design mainly solves following several problems:Operating current through keyboard entry,monitor display system active status and data.The control system can use the keyboard to adjust the operating current change caused by each kind of parameter.Thus in guarantee hardening process electric current stability.In the hardening process,as a result of the arc and the blow-out instantaneous existence the operating current sudden change,produces the arc with to stop the arc spot superheat melting,seriously affects the surface quality of the work piece,the improvement control system as well as the additional essential hardware electric circuit causes the operating current the change to be steady.Because this system work under strong jamming environment,has comes from both the switching power supply to surpass 40KHZ the high frequency interference and hardening electric current close 100A heavy current disturbance,therefore the anti-jamming design is a question which must have to consider.
