Study In Preventing Collapse Mechanism And Application Of Micro-Foam Drilling Fluid

Compared with conventional drilling fluid, foam drilling fluid has its particular advantages including well capability of reservoir protection,approved ability of protecting shale collapse,fast drilling velocity . The foam drilling fluid can be drilled underbalance in low pressure area for its low density, its low drilling fluid filter loss can reduce formation damage, its ability of carrying crumbs is good and can clean out rock crumbs effectively. Underbalance drilled with foam drilling fluid is favour of finding and protecting reservoir, and to, it can deal with some complex downhole cases effectively for example high effective exploration survey and exploitation, raising drilling velocity,reducing cost and circulation loss and pressure differential sticking. This article is aimed at researching low pressure complex caving ground in Jilin area, studied mechanism of formation instability, analyzed through X-ray diffraction mineralogical analysis and SEM imagery structural analysis. Besides, it studied mini foam drilling fluid stability mechanism. At last, it studied the application of mini foam drilling fluid, and optimized the best foam system.
