With the development of large outfit's technique, it calls for better forge ability of large forgings and super forgings. We request strictly for forge equipment to meet the need of large forge sections. We need greater forge tonnage, higher forge accuracy and better automatic level.As a important constituent of large forge equipment ,water press display grave effect at the present time. Compare with maturity hydraulic control technic, conventional drive style, control accuracy and automatic level of water press are far behind.In this pager, we introduce the body structure, drive mode and operating system of water press simply, and introduce the operating principle of pull-up cone valve in conventional water press detailed. Analyse different control mode of operate system's allotter.We research the main allotter and its control system of 50MN forge water press, modelling the mathematical model of main cylinder's inlet-valve and main allotter's servo control system separately. Emulate the working process of in-let valve and servo control system in in Matlab/simulink software. Analyse the control chamber's pressure character and opening pressure character of the inlet valve base on emulation results, obtained the response characteristic of servo control system at the same time.Analyse the emulation results compare with the experimental data of water press which collect in field, study the reason why emulation results are different from field datas, and proving the correct of the model which we established.
