Water-injection is one of the main ways for oil-production in the oilfields in our country, which can efficiently supplement the producing energy and play a positive role in EOR and high and stable production of the oilfield. However, the cost to maintain water-injection system takes a large percent of the cost of development in oilfield, which is close to 30%-40%, therefore, it is of great practical significance for research on calculation of water-injection efficiency and analysis of energy saving in oilfield.Water-injection system in oilfield mainly consists of electromotor, water- injection pump, flow control valve at the outlet of water-injection pump, water-injection pipe grid, injection well and so on. With the exception of the effective energy injected into formation, the energy of water-injection system is often consumed at electromotor, water-injection pump, flow control valve, pipe grid, wellhead and wellbore, which make up of the gross consumption of water-injection system. On the base of data home and abroad, according to law of conservation of matter and theories of fluid dynamics, the calculation model of water-injection system efficiency and energy consumption are established in this paper. A software on the calculation and analysis of water-injection system efficiency and energy consumption is programmed, using VB 6.0, and, taking two injection plants in Liaohe oilfield as examples, the efficiency is calculated and the energy consumption is analyzed, and the distribution of energy consumption of the whole system is given. According to the results of calculation and analysis, some reasonable and effective measurements for energy saving are provided.
