In the paper,geologic characteristics of Bei301 Block of Hohnoren Oil-Field are analyzed,and the necessity to profile control and the layer system should be profile controlled is determined.The history and present situation of development of gel profile control is summed up,and gelling mechanism is studied on.The main raw materials is made of Polyacrylamide(PAM),(CH2)6N4 and C6H4(OH)2,adding appropriate gelled time regulator solution into it.The profile modification system is developed that can fit for can fit for Bei301 Block bearing the completed geologic features,which is multi-reserve type oilfield with poor reservoir properties and complex lithologic changes. Through many lab screening experiments,the formula of gel system is obtained,its PAM content is 0.4~0.7%,(CH2)6N4 content is 0.2~0.5%,C6H4(OH)2 content is 0.2~0.5%, and regulator solution content is 0.3~0.8%,pH is controlled between 3.5 to 6.The gel strength of the gelled fluid of this formula is relatively stronger,and its gelled time is adjustable,which can be controlled between 3 to 10 days.The properties of this profile controlling agent are determined by laboratory testing. And the results show that this profile controlling agent has good thermal stability and salt resistance and high damage ratio.Through physical simulation experiment,the time of injecting and the rule of slug size of gel affecting recovery and the effect of profile control are mainly studied.The results show that the right time of gel injecting that the stage of the water cut is about 70%,and the slug size is about 0.3PV~0.6PV.The effect of profile control of this time is better,and it can improve the final recovery efficiency and increase production and decline water cut,which can provide scientific foundation for optimizing design of rational implement of projects in field.Bei301 Block of Huhnoren Oil-Field bears the completed geologic features,which is multi-reserve type oilfield with poor reservoir properties,complex lithologic changes, poor permeability,large difference on reservoir physical properties,very strong interspace anisotropy,low reservoir temperature and so on.This profile controlling agent can fit for the Blocks bearing these completed geologic features.The effect of the profile controlling agent making water pack off is good.And it's can improve injection water and increase the sweep efficiency of injection water,then can upgrade the displacement efficiency.It's sure that the oil field can have the stable production.
