Measuring The Blend Ratio Of Cashmere/wool Yarns Based On Image Processing Technology

Cashmere is taken from the fine layer of villa of goats. It is uniform and soft, reputed to be the king of the fiber. Our country holds the important share in the world trade of cashmere and wool in the production, processing and expert. With more and more cashmere/wool blend fabrics export, the measure of blend ratio becomes more important for the rights and interests of the maintenance enterprise, the business and the consumer. We pay more attention of the products'quality, the trademark marking authenticity and accuracy, how to identify and measuring effective, fast and accurate has the quite vital significance to the trade transaction examination.The article gives the detail difference of the wool and cashmere fiber, including the fineness, scale and isoelectric point. Analysis the variance of the cashmere and wool's dyeing rate by using three different colour's dyes to the cashmere and wool fibers. After using HI-1 dye to stain into the blend yarn of wool and cashmere, the cashmere is purple 4R and the wool is cherry red 5B. Then slice and image, image-processing technique is finally used to identify and measure the blend ratio.The research indicated that it is very difference between the cashmere and the wool in the dyeing property aspect, using the method which the image processing technology and the staining method to measure the blend ratio through set up two characteristic parameters effectively. It indicates that testing the ratio of cashmere/wool blend yarn through image processing technology is feasible with higher precision distinction.
