This dissertation had studied the synthesis, properties of surficial chemistry , applying capability and microemulsion of a soluble starch of n-dodecyl polyglucosides(C12-APGs).Soluble starch of n-dodecyl polyglucosides(C12-APGs) were prepared by two step reation of 1,2-Propylene glycol,soluble starch and dodecyl alcohol in mole ratio 12:1:1 with p-toluenesulfonic acid as synergistic catalyst at 120℃for 6h.Conversion of soluble starch sugar reached 100 %. Structure of the synthesized soluble starch C12-APGs was characterized by IR, which is similar with the sample. Its cmc is 5.0×10-4g/L and surface tension is 34.59mN?m-1 at 25℃. The Application Properties of APG about emulsifying properties and foam was studied.In the study of C12-APGs/AES, the surface tension of different proportion of soluble starch of n-dodecyl polyglucosides(C12-APGs) and AES.It was found that the critical micelle concentration(cmc)and the corresponding surface tension at such concentration (γcmc) are determined from theirγ-lgC curves was clearly degressive. Especially,the cmc andγcmc drop to the lowest when the proportion is 8:2.In the study of the prescriptions of body shampoo,the fifth prescription has the best emulsifying properties,decontamination and foaming properties.In the study of microemulsion containing soluble starch of n-dodecyl polyglucosides(C12-APGs) at different concentration of surfactant with 1-butanol.It was found that the concentration of surfactant has no influence about A/S. The best proportion is 2.5:1at the microemulsion of C12-APGs with different 1-butanol,while,the 1-hexanol and 1-octanol is 2:1. At the determination of the best salt content, the salt concentration range of middle phase of microemulsion from forming to disappearing of the microemulsion (salt length) is 3.42%~10.78%.
