In the process of machining the divided axle box, the parts manufactured exist a series of defects such as the low quality, poor interchangeability and faulty or inferior parts etc.. So it has a practical significance to the process optimization.After having investigated and researched on the spot, it is discovered that the processing of the arm and hoop of "CW-200K-CCKZ53" axle box exists a lot of problems although the continuous improvement in the production in the long term. Based on the analysis of the on-the-spot process, the integration of process is done according to the existing equipment and the need of the development in the enterprise. Determining the cutting parameters is one part of process. When cutting depth is a fixed value, cutting parameters optimization is about the optimization of the feed and cutting speed, so determining the machining allowance should be carried firstly. The calculation of the size of parts of the process is done which can test whether the size on the spot is reasonable or not, at the same time, which can get the reasonable rough size according to the machining allowance determined by looking-up table. A more practical approach based on the objective of the minimum time which constructs the constraints based on the surface roughness, tool durability, machine tool power, speed and the range of feed speed, is put forward to the optimization of the individual process. Processing quality is the guarantee of the enterprise credibility. In order to guarantee the quality in the process of machining, the causal map is used to analysis the factors of affecting the quality of machining, from which the key factors can be founded and controlled to reduce manufacturing defects.Besides, the interchangeability of the arm and hoop has been the problem to be solved. Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the on-the-spot method and the impact on the practical machining, the theoretical calculation and feasibility analysis and verification are done aiming at it, which affords the theoretical basis to solve the problem accordingly, at the same time, which have a good practical significance of process arrangement for a new factory. |
