Currently,the domestic and international theories and application of the land blasting is mature and perfect.Comparing to the land blasting,the research and applications of the underwater blasting is lagged,especially in deepwater explosion. This paper utilizing the self-designed simulated water explosion pressure vessel as the basic experimental equipment,study on power of explosive under simulated deepwater explosion.While the charge explosion under the water,it takes two parts of pressure,one part is the hydraulic pressure,the other part is the outer pressure of the gas.The hydraulic pressure is related to the depth of the charge,according as the physics theory, every 10 meters depth pressure of water equal to 1 atm.Through fix the depth of the detonator lead-cast or cement mortar block under the water surface,change the outer gas pressure(from 0.0 MPa~1.5 Mpa),one change unit as 0.05~0.2MPa) to simulate the different deep water surroundings.Utilizing the under water blasting testing system to study the charge in the block explosion under the different pressure,research the residuary energy.Carried out blasting test for detonator lead-cast with No.8 detonator.By means of reaming value of lead-cast to measure power of explosive.Lead-cast reaming value decrease with increase of simulated deepwater depth,functional relation between reaming value and depth of water is y=-1.48ln(H)+31.732.The residual shock wave pressure and specific energy hold the line with the increase of simulated deepwater depth while the period of bubble pulsation and residual bubble specific energy decreased with the increase of depth.The residual shock wave specific energy is detonator underwater exposed 20.4%on average,and the residual bubble specific energy is 44%.Carried out blasting test for cement mortar block with No.8 detonator,and the blasting fragments are collected and statistically analyzed and compared the effect between open field and underwater in different simulated depths.Boulder yield increased and blasting fragmentation effect became worse with increase of simulated deepwater depth from 0.6m to 90.6m.And blasting only can produce the crack while simulated deepwater surpasses 110.6m.Functional relation between the fractal dimensions of blasting fragment of block and simulated depth is D=-0.0054H+1.3084.The residual shock wave specific energy is detonator underwater exposed 7.75%on average,and the residual bubble specific energy is 49.5%.
