| In the process of oil refining, the feed stocks of fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) tend to be heavy and diverse. It is an important way for oil refineries to process CGO with catalyst cracker to amplify the material sources and enhance profits. However, large quantity of nitrogen compounds especially basic nitrogen compounds and large quantity of heavy aromatics in CGO greatly limit the processing of CGO. This paper gave an effective way of removing the basic nitrogen compounds of CGO by WLDN-5, a nitrogen removal agent complexing with the basic nitrogen compounds in CGO. This experiment explored how the quantity and concentration of WLDN-5, reaction temperature and reaction time affected the removal of CGO. Meanwhile, the repeated usage of WLDN-5 was also studied. The result of the experiment showed that WLDN-5 was an effect nitrogen removal agent. The process had bright future for development for its simple operation and low cost. The nitrogen removal increased with the quantity of WLDN-5. WLDN-5 diluted with water had lower nitrogen removal activity than the fresh one, but it could still meet the industrial requirement for basic nitrogen limit of 1000 ppm. When WLDN-5 was used repeatedly, its effect became worse than that of the fresh one, but it still had some denitrification activity. The suitable reaction temperature was 90℃and reaction time 20 minutes, then the best result could be obtained. |
