With the world oil resource is close to dry up, it is very importmant to develop gasification technology for our country. Coal Water Slurry(CWS) gasification techonology is one of the advanced gasification technology. Black liquor is one of the most harmful pollution on earth, utilization of black liquor has double meaning both for environment and economy.In order to make the experiment result more representative, three different bank coal were chosed to cofect CWS an CBLS. Carbon dioxide gasification kinetics for six kinds of chars was investigated with isothermal-gravimetric ananlysis under ambient pressure, and with temperature-programmed analysis under pressurized environment. FTIR, XRD and SEM, these experiment techonologis were also used to analyse the microcosmic characteristics of these chars.In charpter 3, the gasification result showed that coal rank is not the only determinant, the content of the Ca an Fe ion contained mineral is also an important determinant. the catalysis of these these mineral is mainly exhibited under under low temperature, but the catalysis was lost under high temperature because of the minerals were melted and "catalyzer poisoned" happened, this phenomena alao lead to CBLS catalysis appeared under high temperature. Carbon convertion rate was improved with the elevation of gasification temperature, around 1200℃is the transition zone between dynamic zone and diffusion zone.In charpter 4, six chars was investigated with temperature-programmed annlysis under pressurized environment, carbon conversion rate was not improved directly with the improvement of pressure. this may be attributed to the "second coagulation" of volatile. "second coagulation" displayed more influcement on high rank CBLS which contained more ash.In charpter 5, through the SEM analysis, it was found that there are many white flecks on the surface of CBLS char, they may be as active dots in the gasifation procession. Through the FTIR analysis, it was clear that the C-O function group of Australia CWS char and CBLS char is much more than Xinwen and Dahuizhan CWS char and CBLS char. And through XRD analysis, It was found that the minerals in Xinwen and Dahuizhan char whose minerals contain more Ca and Fe ion melted under high temperature, giving birth to more vitreous body in the same time.
