BOPP heating films are used widely in the commodity packages. Nowadays BOPP heating films produced in our country have some problems that intension is not enough, heating temperature is too high, anti-static properly is not so good and smoothness property performs badly, which makes BOPP heating films can't satisfy high-speed packaging demands of customers, such as food, medicine industry and so on. The thesis focuses on the smoothness property and surface treating process of BOPP. The main contents contain two parts as follows:(1) The principle of smoothness property of heating films is discussed . And the influential factors of heating films are analyzed through BOPP Friction Property experiments.(2) The mechanism of corona treatment of heating films is investigated. The factors influencing the moisture tensility of BOPP films are dicussed,The thesis studies on BOPP heating films produced in the biaxial produce line of Mitsubishi in Japan. Conclusions can be drew as follows:(1) The power of corona treatment increases with the line speed of the process increasing.(2) The temperature increasing of the warm-up roller can enhance the moisture tensility efficiently.(3) Under the same power of corona treatment, the smaller is the vent, the higher is the ozone concentration between the roller and the film. Consequently, the moisture tensility of BOPP films is bigger.(4) The corona treatment can result in concaves on the film, which benefit the transfer of the additives in the core layer. So the friction coefficient of corona treatment surface is usually smaller than that of untreated surface. The results will benefit reducing cost, improve the quality of the products and seizing hold of high end market.
