Particulate matter(PM10) is the main pollutant to affect our urban air quality, because of its larger volume and surface area,not only affects atmospheric visibility, generates atmospheric photochemical smog, intensifies the greenhouse effect, but also endanger human health, improve morbidity and mortality. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) widely exist in the atmospheric environment; have the three characteristics "carcinogenic, teratogenic and caused by gene mutations". It is the focus of us to study the PAHs in the PM10.Huainan city is an energy city collected coal, electricity and chemistry, the study of PAHs in PM10 is still blank. In order to understand the pollution characteristics of PM10 and PAHs in PM10, on the basis of observations, it used weight methoed to calculate the PM10 mass concentration,discussed the temporal and spatial variation characteristics and its relationship with the weather conditions of Huainan city.Using microwace extraction methoed to disposal the membrane samplings, and then using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) anaysis and testing, concluded as follows:(1)During the autumn season,the PM10 concentration ranged from 0.178 to 0.262mg/m3, the average was 0.225±0.038mg/m3, pollution was fairly serious;autumn PM10 concentration relationship in accordance with the functional areas:Commercial> Chemical District>Traffic District>Cultural District>Residential areas; except the 15th primary school sampling site, the other sites on average PM10 concentration in november were less than in October, mainly due to the end of October continued a five-day rainfall, rainfall on the role of the atmosphere was cleaning wet deposition process, through the raindrops, took the PM10 in the atmosphere to the ground and removed, through the 2h interval sample analysis results, the relationships between the quality of PM10 concentration with the atmospheric temperature changed were highly negatively correlated, with high relative humidity were positively correlated, with the wind speed were significantly negatively related.(2)During the autumn season, the 16 PAHs concentration rangeed from 15.20 to 57.00ng/m3, the most carcinogenic benzo [a] pyrene concentration is between 1.29~4.89 ng/m3,and compared to other cities,the pollution level of PAHs in Huainan was mild, the maxmum concentration was in Xie Jiaji area.By calculating the benzo (a) pyrene equivalent toxicity (BEQ), get that the maxmium value was in the Tian Jiaan 15th primary school and Xie Jiaji sampling sites, exposing to these areas can lead to great hazard to humans, pointing out that benzo (a) pyrene toxicity was greate and need to strengthen its monitoring and control, ratio method was used to analyze the source of PAHs in PM10, obtain that the main sources of PAHs in Huainan city were dust, coal burning and oil emission and etc.
