Such kind of compounds possesses special properties and has wide application in the fields such as catalysis, optics, magnetics, electricity and biochemistry. It has always been the researcher's goal to design and synthesize supramolecular assembly with special properties, and it is necessary to make clear the influence of various factors on the final structure. In the present paper, as ligands, Gatifloxacin and quinclorac were chosen, and five compounds: Zn(gatx)2(H2O)2·4H2O,Co(gatx)2(H2O)2·4H2O,Ni(gatx)2(H2O)2·4H2O [Ni(quin)2]n,[Co(quin)2]n have been synthesized. Their structures have been characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction. It have been discussed the influence of the ratio of reactants, solvent, temperature on the crystal growth and structure. Their thermal stability and biological activities of some compounds have been investigated.Three metal-Gatifloxacin complexes have been synthesized via evaporation technique. These complexes exhibit similar mononuclear structure and all crystallize in the triclinic system, space group P-1. The metal ion is coordinated by two gatifloxacin and two aqua ligands to furnish a distorted octahedral geometry. In vitro evaluation antibacterial activity indicates that the Zn(II)-Gatifloxacin compound and the Ni(II)-Gatifloxacin compound result in the enhanced activities of the drug against staphylococcus, whereas the Co(II)-Gatifloxacin compound shows decreased activity. The TG curves of the three compounds show that the compounds easily lose their dissociated water at lower temperature.Metal-quinclorac complexes have been solvothermally synthesized when water was used as solvent. These complexes exhibit similar mononuclear structure and all crystallize in the Orthorhombic system, space group Pccn. Metal atom which lies on a symmetry plane is N,O-chelated by the carboxylate bridges into a linear chain. The metal shows octahedral coordination. The TG curves of the compounds show that the two complexes are stable under 380℃. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | complexe, crystal structure, Gatifloxacin, quinclorac, antibacterial activity | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
