Recently, with economy of our country growing quickly, the highway construction develops fast and realizes the huge development, highway construction course increases massively and improvements the transportation condition greatly for people and commodity transportation. Simultaneously, many problems are exposed in the highway construction process, especially freeway. Not only takes the massive land resource, but also destroys the massive temporary land during the construction process, making the farmland waste, causing the soil and water loss and destroying the ecology seriously. So, resuming the temporary land in the highway construction process is very important for protecting the farming resources, reducing the soil and water erosion and protecting the ecological environment.Selecting the temporary land of Xi'an-Hanzhong highway project for the object of study, we study the soil amelioration effect of this measure to the soil of temporary land and the analysis to the resuming effect of the project through the experiment of potted plant; The research makes use of appending trash compost to improvement soil and exploring the feasible pattern for ecological restoration of temporary land.The research indicates that because of the mill of machineries, the destruct for physical structure of surface layer soil and project waste material joined make the soil nutrient of the temporary land in the highway construction process lack seriously. It is good for the effect of soil amelioration and plant growth through appending trash compost and planting leguminous plant.The study of project's restoration indicates that soil organic matter of the selected six plots lacks seriously and the content of alkali nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium a lacks of varying degrees, we should increase Improvement material through artificial method. During the procedure of artificial ecological restoration, Choosing species reasonably has advantageous in advancing ecological restoration.Based on environmental protection, this article proposes the principle of ecological restoration and the routine of restoration of the temporary land during the highway project, that is the investigation and plan, the implementation of restored measures and the management of recovered procedure of soil. Putting forward the restored methods of temporary land and providing the procedure and the technical guidance for ecological restoration of temporary land.
