Based on the application of RP technology, the new product development line, which used the RTV Silicon Rubber molding and Vacuum Casting, has now widely applied to the field of automobile, electronic and medical etc.In recent years, with the rapid development of the computer technology, CAE Analysis has widely applied in every field of the Engineering. However, it is lack of CAE Analysis based on the processing of vacuum casting for rapid tooling. This paper study the process of the vacuum casting by using the software of Moldflow, which is the advanced commercial software used for injection simulation. It has extended the scope of the application of Moldflow, and improved the efficiency and success rate in the product development with the analysis of Gate location, Flow and Warp.Using Moldflow software analyzed the process of the molding, and doing the experiment with the same parts, and comparing the simulation results with the experiment, we can conclude that the uniformity between the analysis results of Gate Location, Flow and Warp etc. and the experiments is good. This paper has attempted various ways to optimize the Mesh statistics before CAE Analysis, and explored a simple, rapid and effective Moldflow mesh method and process through using Hypermesh, Moldflow CAD Doctor, Magics STL Expert 3.0, Moldflow Design Link and so on. This pretreatment method has guaranteed the transfer efficiency and the model quality when the data transfer in different software. This method, which first combined the Moldflow Macro in Hypermesh with MPI automesh, has quickly got the 3D mesh and made the process of 3D mesh easily and simply. Moreover, through the analysis with different parts has proven this method is feasibility.
