Along with the rapid development of nanotechnology and the conductive material, great attention has been paid to the study on the nanometer titanium dioxide conductive powder taking nanometer titanium dioxide as the substrate synthesis.Because of having the double function of pigment and conductive simultaneously,also the high whiteness, high covering power,and stable physical and chemical properties,the nanometer titanium dioxide conductive powder has broad prospect in the conductive powder research area.In this thesis the preparation of the nanometer titanium dioxide conductive powder was researched in depth.Nanometer titanium dioxide conductive powder was prepared by a chemical co-precipitation method,in which nanometer titanium dioxide particles were coated by conductive layer of SnO2 doped Sb.The pretreatment condition of the nanometer titanium dioxide and the effect of preparation conditions on the electrical resistivity of production were investigated.The product structure,the morphology,the constituents and the content were characterized.The results indicate that nanometer titanium dioxide conductive powder with the less than 30Ω·cm volume resistivity,which are coated by conductive layer of SnO2 doped Sb,could be prepared by chemistry co-precipitation method.The best preparation conditions are obtained through the single factor and the orthogonal experiment.These conditions are reaction temperature 70℃,charging-up time 2.5h,pH 1.5,the amount of SnCl4·5H2O 60%,the amount of SbCl3 6.5%,the calcinations temperature 650℃,and calcinations time 2h.The results of XRD and XRF show that in the obtained conductive powder,SnO2 and the Sb2O3 content is respectively 26.4%and 2.37%; TEM and SEM show that the thickness of conductive layers which coat on the nanometer titanium dioxide surface evenly are approximately 20nm,but many coatings occur on the nanometer titanium dioxide agglomerates.The study of application indicates that:in the aqueous solution,the sodium stearate with the suitable amount used 2%has the high dispersible ability to the nanometer titanium dioxide conductive powder;The suitable recruitment of nanometer titanium dioxide conductive powder in water paint containing acrylic resin is 3.5%;The nanometer titanium dioxide conductive powder was used in the automobile middle coating,and all the performances conform to the technical standards.The performances of conductive powder in aspect of color,degree of fineness,covering power and dilution ratio surpass the two kinds of domestic products;The performances of outward appearance,proportion,varnish film outward appearance,storage stability,degree of hardness and adhesion are similar with the domestic products;But the luster will have to be further enhanced.
