Recently, with the globalization of antiterrorism and increasing of the safety sense, personal safety has become a very important thing around the world, resulting in the rapid development of body armors. In many countries the use of gun is prohibited very strictly, but the thread from knives and stabs is evreywhere existed, and people those who are engaged in high-quality commercial manufacture are also menaced by machining tools. Therefore, as one of the important personal protective armor, stab-resistant body armor is getting more and more attention from the researchers.Nowadays, there are many researches on the development of the stab-resistant products, but most stab-resistant materials are chemical fibers of high performance, such as aramid, UHMWPE, PBO and so on. These fibers all have the performance of high modulus and high strength. Their spunned silk can not only be slender than natural fiber, but also make the cloth tighter. However, these fibers of high performance are much more expensive than natural fibers and the density is bigger. Takeing silk as materials, considering the good stab-resistant ability of silk itself, the contents of the papers are are connecting many cocoons together to make non-woven cloth, superimposing these cloth together to make stab-resistant layer, and testing on the stab-resistance of the silk non-woven stab-resistant layer.A stab-resistance test instrument, which can not only make stab-resistant tests according to the stab-resistant standard, but also gather impact time ,blade velocity in the test process and trace out the curves of energy-changing and strength-changing of tested knives ,on the basis of virtual instrument, with the method of optical velocimetry,is made in the papers. These data make important significance for the research of stab-resistant fabric and stab-resistant mechanism.
