On basis of a thorough comprehension and analysis of the overseas smart composite structure study,this paper focus on the experimental study of extended effect of v-notch in composite materials controlled by knotted shape memory alloy fiber and the test of material characteristic parameters.Based on the previous results,tensile tests of knotted shape memory alloy fiber composite materials are put up in the article.Experiment is conducted between three materials,the pure epoxy specimens,not including shape memory alloy fiber,the composite materials specimens,including direct shape memory alloy fiber,and the composite materials specimens,including knotted shape memory alloy fiber.This work intend to proof that the control effect of knotted shape memory alloy fiber to extension and fracture of v-notch in composite materials,the improving effect of knotted shape memory alloy fiber on interracial debonding in tensile process,and the reinforcing effect of tensile strength in composite materials.After comparing study between theoretical calculation and experimental data,we find that knotted shape memory alloy fiber has effective control on extension of v-notch and improve the tensile strength of composite materials,at the same time,it also can be an effective method to prevent the interfacial debonding between fiber and matrix in composite materials.
