(1) The characteristic and preparation of nano-material had been introduced in the paper. And the definition of adsorption, the types of adsorption, the adsorption isotherm and the inside and outside reaching trend of nano-material also had been discussed.(2) Self-assembly cuprous oxide had been successfully prepared by the reaction that hydroxylamine hydrochloride deoxidize copper oxide in the presence of gelatin in the research. The production was characterized by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The results indicated that the self-assembly cuprous oxide were spherical and hollow polymers, mostly with the diameter of 300-600nm, and separated comparatively symmetrically. The factors of the original concentration of methyl orange, temperature, sorbent dosage and adsorption time played a significant role on the adsorption of the methyl orange. The maximal decolorization rate could reach over 93.02% when the cuprous oxide adsorbing methyl orange 40 minutes at 25℃. According to the IR spectra, it proved that the surface of the spherical hollow cuprous oxide had adsorbed methyl orange. The decolorization efficiency can be kept over 91.30% after the adsorbent was regenerated for 2 times.(3) Under certain conditions, Mn3O4 nano-particles had been successfully prepared by a facile solution that H2O2 oxidated Mn(OH)2 using methyl cellulose as dispersant in the research. The production was characterized by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The results indicated that the production were Mn3O4 nano-particles and it were spherical, with the diameter of 50-200nm, and separated comparatively symmetrically. The factors of influence adsorption had been investigated including adsorption time,the initial concentration of alizarin red,temperature,sorbent dosage and initial pH. The pseudo-second-order kinetic law of Langergren model was very suitably used to describe the adsorption behavior of alizarin red and the adsorption rate constants were also calculated in the paper. The adsorption isotherm had been modeled by Langmuir and Freudlich equations. The results indicated that Langmuir equation had better fitness than Freudlich equation in isotherm adsorption process and monolayer amount of adsorption was calculated as 29.16 mg·g-1. The adsorbent was found to adsorb alizarin red rapidly, simply and effectively. The maximum amount of adsorption nearly reached in 15 minutes. The decolorization rate of alizarin red could be up to 94.18% in the best conditions. The decolorization efficiency can be kept over 90% after the adsorbent was regenerated for 4 times. The nano-Mn3O4 was suited for using in disposing dye waste water.(4) Under certain conditions, Self-assembly MnO2 had been successfully prepared by reaction between HMnO4 and MnSO4 using 9% polyethylene glycol(1000)(PEG) as dispersant in the research. The production was characterized by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The results indicated that the self-assembly MnO2 were spherical and hollow polymers, with the diameter of 300-500nm, and separated comparatively symmetrically. The factors of influence adsorption had been investigated including adsorption time,the initial concentration of alizarin red,temperature,sorbent dosage and initial pH. The adsorption isotherm had been modeled by Freudlich equation and the process of adsorption matches Freudlich model, and the interrelated constants were calculated as K=3.75 g-1·L1/n·mg(n+1)/n, 1/n =1.28. The maximum amount of adsorption nearly reached in 60 minutes. The decolorization rate of alizarin red could be up to 86% in the best conditions. The decolorization efficiency can be kept over 80% after the adsorbent was regenerated for 4 times. It was suited for using in disposing dye waste water.
