Oxygen is considered to be one of the most important elements for anyone to be alive. In the past decades, a variety of oxygen sensors based on luminescence quenching by oxygen have been developed and reported in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, clinical medical diagnose, environmental and also in other fields. Fiber optie oxygen sensor which have a lot of advantages including intrinsiesafety ,low cost, simple structure and high sensitivity. These optical chemistry sensors material is usually composed of two parts, a support matrix and functional molecules of which the luminescent intensity is depended on the oxygen concentration. Oxygen molecule can quench the luminescence of the functional molecules through the pore of the matrix.the devising and optimizing of oxygen sensers were take dyes and matrix into account. So the preparation of the new oxygen sensors, especially dissolved oxygen sensors with high sensitivity, have gradually become the major interest aims of the field of optical chemosensor. In this article we synthesize the mesoporours materials from CTAB. The and luminescence and oxygen sensing properties of mesoporours materials DWM with a strcture similar to that of MSU-type mesoporours materials based on covalently grafted to [Ir(ppy)2Cl]2 fragments through the Si-C- covanlent bonds were described .We designed 1,10-phenanthroline organic functionalized hydrolysable compounds with two prosess .The Phen-Si in this preparation was used as not only of the sol-gelprecursor but also the ligand of Ir Cl3.3H2O complex to prepare the sol-gel derived silicate. We synthesis oxygen sensor based on the the mesoporours materials via the foregoing approach .The experimental data show that the sensitivity is1.6,the quenching time is 8s. An oxygen sensor based on the the mesoporours materials shows short response time and good reproducible signals than that of amorphous one attributed to the existence of the ligand containing long alkyl chain groups and the inner porous channels of the mesoporours matrix favor the diffusion of oxygen ,so The luminescence of the covalently grafted Ir(III) luminophore within the mesoporous matrix can be used to develop superior oxygen sensor .
