In recent year,with the increasing serious problem of the global ecological environment,the conflicts between the environment and trade are becoming more and more intensive.The governments of develop countries drew up a lot of policies and laws and regulations,and then,applied them to international trade under the pretext of ecological protection.There is new form of trade barriers --- Green Trade Barrier.The economic development of China heavily depends on exports,and the environmental protection standards of Developed countries which cover broad and demand strictly set up Enormous obstacles to export trade of China.The environmental protection standards of Developed countries weakened our competitiveness in the world severely,and embarrassed the economic development of our country.This paper tried to discuss how to carry out the environmental management and promote the competitiveness of businesses,and then,to help enterprises across the green trade barriers well against such a background.The author believes that the businesses should look at the issue of environment in strategic perspective and carry out environmental management,and the businesses will promote international competitiveness.Environmental management is a powerful engine which breakthrough the green trade barriers and enhance the international competitiveness of the business.This paper analyzes the green barriers on the impact of our country,and proposes the environmental thought of "from cradle to cradle".The thought leads product life cycle for clues,which carries out environmental management from the aspects of product design,supply chain,manufacturing,marketing,recovery and treatment of waste products and packaging.At the same time,this paper also pointed out that environmental management accounting on the role of implementation of businesses' environmental management.The activities of business management partly dependent on the information which environmental management accounting provides.This is an important means in servicing business environmental management. Environmental management accounting for business plays an important role in investment decision,cost control and performance evaluation.It will promote the environmental management and environmental competitive of business,and the business will cross the green trade barrier successfully.
