1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime is an excellent cross-linker and has wide applications in rubber industry.China's annual production of 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime is 100,000 tons,as modern society has paid more and more attention to the environment and the chemical industry is going toward the development of green-oriented,production technology of 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime is facing with the challenge of innovation. Environmentally friendly production technology of the 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime is the chemical workers' goals.In this paper,in order to achieve the core goal of clean production,the production technology of 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime was improved in order to reduce waste and emissions of pollutants and increase the yield and product quality.And on this basis,the synthesis of 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime using nucleophilic addition reaction of carbonyl compounds and hydroxylamine could make the atom utilization higher in the production process and significantly improved yield.1.Two-steps synthesis of 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime by the catalyst of acetic acid1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime is a crosslinker has excellent performance and is used widely in rubber industry.As modern society is paying much attention to environment, chemical industry is developing toward the direction of green,and chemical workers are trying to achieve the goal of economic and environmental protective.This chapter improved the two-steps synthesis of 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime using phenol,sodium nitrite,sulfuric acid and Hydroxylamine Hydrochloride based on economy and output efficiency of 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime.The experiment studied the synthesis of 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime by the catalyst of little acetic acid and solvent of aqueous solution in water system,and researched the best condition of this system.Our result showed that output efficiency could be improved obviously using the acetic acid as catalyst instead of the alkaline environment:the output efficiency could reach 65.3%when the molar ratio of phenol,sodium nitrite,acetic acid was 1:1.3:0.33. Cost of production was reduced as we didn't need alkali and acid-tolerant reaction equipments cause of the mild reaction condition of PH 4.5.2.synthesis of 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime by the catalyst of calcium carbonateThough the output efficiency of two-steps synthesis of 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime by the catalyst of acetic acid could be improved obviously,procedure was complicated and utilization of atomic was low.More liquid was produced and pollute the environment by using the water system.This chapter research the best conditions of synthesis of 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime using 1,4-Benzoquinone and Hydroxylamine Hydrochloride by the catalyst of calcium carbonate.Experiments showed that output efficiency could reach 67.3%when the molar ratio of Hydroxylamine Hydrochloride and 1,4-Benzoquinone was 5.0 in 70℃.This method synthesize the 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime directly and reduced the production cost.Solvent ethanol could be recycled and utilization of atomic was higher than two-steps method.3.synthesis of 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime in the buffer of ammoniaThough the synthesis of 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime by the catalyst of calcium carbonate Simplified the reaction steps and improved the utilization of atomic,output efficiency of 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime still low,The final product adulterated a small amount of p-benzoquinone and affect the purity of the product.This chapter used the method of drip hydroxylamine hydrochloride water solution in the ethanol system which has the solution of benzoquinone based on the usage efficiency of benzoquinone and green reaction.output efficiency and purity of the product were both improved markedly.wastewater discharge was little and green because the ethanol system.Results showed that output efficiency could reach 93.7%if the PH of water solution was 8 and the molar ratio of Hydroxylamine Hydrochloride and 1,4-Benzoquinone was 2.8:1.0.4.synthesis of 4,4'-dibenzoyl quinonedioxime used 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime4,4'-dibenzoyl quinonedioxime is rubber vulcanizing agent and has same usage as 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime,but is has stronger delayed-action of curing and burning-resistant because its structure contains benzoyl.This chapter researched the synthesis of 4,4'-dibenzoyl quinonedioxime in the non-homogeneous conditions of chloroform system using 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime and benzene carbonyl chloride.Experiments showed that output efficiency of 4,4'-dibenzoyl quinonedioxime could reach 93%if the temperature of reaction was 60℃and the molar ratio of 1,4-Benzoquinone dioxime and benzene carbonyl chloride was 1.0:2.3.93%of solvent chloroform could be recycled and no waste water was discharged,so this reaction was green.
