With the development of computer technology, to meet the requirement of flexibility and the ability of reconfiguration from machine industry, many different kinds of open CNC system have been developed. Especially the PCB ASEDCNC system is the focus of attention. It utilizes the motion control card to achieve the real-time control of motors; meanwhile the PC takes charge of man-machine conversation. Comparily, the systems implemented with the microchip have low prices with the enough abilities.In my graduation project, the main controllerusing is the U.S.company's high-performance SILICON LABORATORIES C8051F020. The design described in this thesis covers the electrical design of the whole card and the logic design of the CPLD EMP 7128STC100-10 produced by ALTERA Company with the ISA bus, digital process speed, interpolation speed, interpolation accuracy are higher than a general microcontroller and serial composition of the Motion Control Card. The Motion Control Card not only completed the higher requirement of real-time interpolation function, also has part of input and output ports, the output of PWM waves; In the design, adoption of dual port RAM completes communication between PC and the motion control card, and logical adhesion was finished because of CPLD; At the same time, using high-speed electric coupling isolation improved the precision and speed of the output pulse, reduced interference. In addition, using of Delphi software completed the design and development of man-machine interface.
