Because of the good electrical properties, optical properties, magnetism and so on, metal-organic complex has been widely applied in the fields of environment, material, catalysis, medicine, biology, etc. In this thesis, two metal-organic materials were prepared and their applications were made based on the specific interaction between metal ion and organic molecule.Besides,we also studied the application of the metal-organic compound in recognition of nucleic acid. The main contents are as follows:(1) A new synthesis method of PpPD microparticles have been developed based on the chemical oxidative polymerization between AgNO3 and p-phenylenediamine "via PVP as a surfactant in water-phase at room temperature. The prepared products are monodispersed,leaf-like microparticies with 6μm in width,10μm in length and smooth surface. We found that the concentration and ratio of the reactants and the surfactant could influence the morphology and yield of the products.Besides,we also found that the presence of Co2+ in the aqueous medium could specifically etch the newly prepared leaf-like PpPD microparticles, causing visually observable color changes from purple to brown. The brown color corresponds the absorption band characterized at 454 nm,and the absorbance at the wavelength linearly gets increased with the cobalt(Ⅱ) ion concentrations over the range of 0.5-100μM with a corresponding limit of determination(3σ) of 0.35μM.Real samples containing cobalt (Ⅱ) such as vitamin B12 injection could be detected with the recovery of 94.0-102.9% and RSD of 0.3-1.3%. (2) Long gold nanoparticles chain with good dispersion has been prepared based on the chemical oxidative between HAuCI4 and sodium citrate via using the biocompatible,water-soluble dextran as the template.Scanning electron microscope (SEM) allowed us to identify the existence of nanoparticle chain.Importantly, through such a preparation procedure,we found that the morphology and the dispersion property of the gold nanoparticles chain were affected by the reaction reagent ratio and stirring speed. The new self-assembly method is simple, rapid and without coupling process.(3) The interactions of cobalt(Ⅱ)/4-[(5-chloro-2-pyridyl)azo]-1,3-diaminobenzene (5-C1-PADAB) complex with different kinds of homopolymer oligonucleotides in basic medium were investigated based on the measurements of resonance light scattering (RLS),UV-vis,CD spectra, and dark field light-scattering imaging.Experiments showed that only thymidine homopoiymer(poly T) oligonucleotides with the length in the range of poly T6 to poly T18 could interact with the Co(Ⅱ)/5-Cl-PADAB complex in alkaline conditions and cause the evident color and spectra change. Thus, the binary complex of Co(Ⅱ)/5-C1-PADAB could be employed as a visual probe for selectively recognizing the thymidine homopolymer(poly T) oligonucleotides.
