The dissertation was aimmed at the control of NOx,one of air pollutant and the application of Selective Non-Catalytic Reduciton in a 410t/h coal-fired boiler of Guohua Electric Power Co.was researched.SNCR design was carried out based on the boiler diagnoses test results.The effects of the injectors layers and injected amount on NOx reduction were researched to abain the optimal operation mode of SNCR system by the tuning tests.The NOx emission was under 350mg/m~3 before SNCR retrofit by low NOx combustion technologies.NOx can be controlled by SNCR under 200mg/m~3 with lower than 10ppm of ammonia slip at large range of boiler load.Then ammonia slip and erosion problems were discussed.The operation cost model was built on,from which it was gained that the cost was about 0.0028RMB/kWh.Also the analysis was done on the main factors of SNCR operation cost.
