Azobenzene is one kind of active group with favorable optical properties. Azo-compounds and polymer containing azo-group have attracted extensive interest because of their photoelectric properties. In present thesis, 8-hydroxyquinoline was introduced into azo-compounds and a series of new azo-compounds were synthesized. Two complex with defined crystal structure containing azo-8-hydroxyquinoline as ligand were also synthesized. The main work of the thesis can be summarized as the following:1. A series of azo-8-hydroxyquinoline compounds with different substituent was synthesized and theie NLO property was tested.2. Polyurethane containing azobenzene moieties as side chain was synthesized through the reaction of Toluene diisocyanide with azobenzene containing diol compounds. The third-order nonlinear optical properties were studied.3. Azobenzene monomer containning acrylate structure was synthesized and polymerized, their NLO property was tested, expecting for excellent polymer materials. |
