Heat pump is a promising technology and uses the same mechanical principles as refrigerators and air conditioners. While refrigerators remove heat from the interior and discharge it to the (kitchen) environment, Heat pumps take heat from the environment and concentrate it to heat water for service needs. In the process of oil recovery, amount of water with temperature between 28℃~35℃was injected into the oil well. and when they were collected from thousands meters below the surface, they could absorb a great deal of energy. every year, more then 100×104 m3 volume of water was collected from the oilfield, it will contain energy at appropriate 4×108kcal if the difference in temperature was 10℃.Combination the parameters of available energy of oilfield, the chemical component of the oilfield water, the requirement of the utilization situation, a new technology for using the heat energy by heat pump has been developed. The oilfields water have high concentration,it will rot the metal pipeline, and it could wall up the machines because of it has high proportion of gelatine,so a energy exchange equipment was used in the heat pump to resolve the contradiction. Results show that the unit provide high coefficient of performance with energy efficiency ratio and heating season performance factor 4.5 and 2.7 respectively. From the situation test, the heat pump could not only collect the oilfield energy, but also can refrigerate the injection pump. although it require a high investment in the primary process, the maintenance cost of the heat pump system is very low. it is widespread application in the daqing oilfield.
