There are mature fractures and matrix with low permeability in Huo Shaoshan oil field. The inhomogeneity is conspicuous. According to actual conditions of Huo Shaoshan oil field in Xin Jiang, some qualities of several chemicals such as polymer,surfactant,alkaline were tested. Oil recovery of every formula in the trimaceral image has been obtained by physical simulation experiments and the favorable formulas have been found which conclude two formulas. The first one is HPAM with mass fraction 0.0015, the other is combination between HPAM with mass fraction 0.0012 and KPS with mass fraction 0.0060. The way of combination of the two formulas and the ratio of volume has been tested. The mechanism of these chemicals flooding oil would be discovered in microvisual model. In order to study how the interfacial tension and viscosity impact the oil recovery, it is necessary to know the compatibility between surfactant and polymer. After physical stimulation experiments, oil recovery of a series of chemicals which are of different interfacial tensions and viscosities could be gotten. The data of these experiments show that the interfacial tension of the polymer and surfactant flooding formulas by which high oil recovery would be obtained need arrive at 10-2mN·m-1 instead of 10-3 mN·m-1. In addition, some emulsions which formed by oil and polymer and surfactant have been studied. It has been tested on stability and size of emulsion and the reasons why the effect of chemical flooding with 10-2mN·m-1 is better could be showed.
