Rockburst is one of important geological disasters in deep hardrock mining excavation. In order to reduce and control rockburst fundamentally, a lot of studies on occurrence mechanism, prediction methods and control techniques of rockburst have been widely done home and abroad. But these problems are still far away from solution at present, for the the extreme complexity of rockburst, the diversity of mine geological conditions and polytropy of engineering condition. However, prediction study on rockburst proneness in Jinchuan mine which is the largest nickel production base is even less. According to this problem, the topic of "study on rockburst proneness prediction of deep-rock in JinChuan mine" is put forward, combined with the major project of JinChuan group company: "study on rock mechanics in the condition of high strength extraction in JinChuan deep-mine" , the occurrence mechanism, prediction methods and control techniques of rockburst are studied deeply and systematically in this paper. The main research work and conclusions are summarized as follows:1. The rockburst type, formation mechanism and proneness prediction methods are analyzed; meanwile, three main theories of rockburst action mechanism are put forword: strength theory, energy theory and rock burst tendency theory; and three main methods of rockburst prediction: prediction based on rock mechanics theory, spot prediction, prediction based on mathematical method.2. Large amount typical rock samples are selected from JinChuan 2rd mine. Four of which are tested, including uniaxial compression strength, tensile strength, typical rock deformation under unloading condition; complete stress-strain curve experiments. Then the basic physic mechanical parameters, energy impact index(WCF) and elastic strain energy index( WET) of every rock are obtained. Furthermore, according to WCF and WET criterion, rockburst proneness is predicted from energy view. At the same time, according to the characters of deep burial and high ground stress in JinChuan deep mine, the ground stress value of underground 1000m depth in the mine is derived based on the ground stress study of predecessor on JinChuan 2rd mine. Then, combined with three main criterions: Russene criterion, Barton criterion and Hoek criterion, rockburst proneness is predicted from stress view.3. Considering the possibility of rockburst, rockburst characteristics and their influence factors are discussed furthermore. In the study of rockburst controlling, control principles and detail measures are proposed.The spot investigation and the research work of theoretical prediction for the rockburst proneness subject of JinChuan deep mine provides reference and decision basis for the mining design of JinChuan mine. The theory and technology of rockburst proneness prediction and control measures developed in this thesis not only has very important theoretical meaning, but also has important practical value and guiding significance for guiding the practice of deep level excavation in our country.
