Study On The Technical Feasibility And Quality Control Of JingTongNing Tablet

JingTongNing Tablet, which is made from Rhizoma Corydalis, Resina Draconis and other five kinds of herbs, is an effective prescription in treating primary dysmenorrhea. The auther has made a study on the technical feasibility and quality control.1. The technical feasibilityIn accordance with the characters of medicinal materials and specificity of indications of the prescription, the tablet was selected as the form of the drug. By using the extraction quantity of dl-trtrahydropalmatine and taking extract rate of all solid as detective markers of alcohol-extraction part of Rhizoma corydalis and Pollen Typhae, the times of extracting was studied , and the optimum extracting condition with alcohol was selected by orthogonal design. The four kinds of herbs, Rhizoma sparganii, Rhizoma curcumae, Aeruginosae Ruxiang and Myrrha,were put together to extract volatile oil using the distillation process. The times of extracting was studied. The distillation process was adopted to extract paeonol from Radix Cynanchi Paniculati. By using the extracted quantity of normal butanol and taking extract rate of all solid as detective markers of water-extraction part of the remnants that were extracted volatile oil, the optimum extracting condition with water was selected by orthogonal design. The saturated water solution was used to the application ofβ-Cyclodextrin. Methods Orthogonal design was used to investigate the preparation technique of inclusion compound of paeonol,volatile oil andβ-Cyclodextrin by determining the ultilization of volation, oil paeonol and inclusion compound, and the optimum including condition withβ-Cyclodextrin was selected by orthogonal design.2. The quality controlRhizoma Corydalis, Ruxiang, Myrrha and Radix Cynanchi Paniculati were indentified by TLC. A HPLC method for the determination of dl-tetrahydropalmatine in the tablet was established. The average recovery rate was 96.60% while RSD was 0.80%. Assay method was validated in the research of contents. On the basis of the above-mentioned quantitative analysis menthod for dl-tetrahydropalmatine, quality standard of JingTongNing Tablet was drafted.
