| The waterborne epoxy resin emulsion can be used without volatile organic compound (VOC),meet the requirements of environment protection. Resent years, the study on the waterborne epoxy resin emulsion and its application have been a popular area which attract much attention.The influences of emulsifying effect of the emulsive temperature, emulsive time,the quantity of emulsifiers OP-10, SP-60 and sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, thequantity of water and emulsive mode were studied by orthogonal design and thenoticeable factors affecting the experimental. result shows that the optimum conditions were as follows: With OP-10, SP-60 and sodium dodecyl benzene quality go together with ratio for 14/2/3 constitute of mixture system for compound emulsify, under the sistuation that 80℃emulsify the reaction of time of emulsify of temperature, 60 min, the adoption emulsify to namely turn to mutually emulsify a method to emulsify epoxy E-51 in the oil, again use 400% dosage E-51 of water of the drop add for the best craft condition, compound emulsify and the dosage quality of the E-51 ratio at 19/200.The emulsion granularity is 44.24μm, Lays aside for a month to be able to have the subsidence but not the emulsion breaking, swing uniform three months later, still might redispersion, can satisfy the scene construction request basically. The waterborne epoxy resin emulsion obtained with the emulsifier addition method is clean and environmental protection, the hydroxyl and the epoxy group in the epoxy resin molecule have not received any destruction, the system may carry on the full junction association solidification with the firming agent in applications.On the other hand, E-51 epoxy resin molecule configuration can be rebuilt by chemical modification. The hydrophilic groups are introduced into a epoxy resin E-51 by chemical modification, which is neutralized by acetic acid to form the epoxy resin aqueous system. The influence of reactants amount on the modified E-51 epoxy resin is studied. The optimum raw materials formulation, reaction temperature and time are finalized. The structure of the modified E-51 epoxy resin is characterized by using of infrared spectrum. The waterborne epoxy resin emulsion granularity distribution was determinated by the laser equipment of particle size analysis. It has shown that finally the obtained emulsion average granularity is 0.845μm, the dispersed phase particle size smaller than 2.328μm is to account for 97%, and the granularity distribution of the waterborne epoxy resin emulsion accords with the literature in the thin emulsion granularity value scope when the reactant allocated proportion is E-51/Diethanolamine/Ethanoic acid =40/10.72/6.2 (quality). The curing and its performances have been studied at the end. |
